. Iranian regime and the Sarbandi family are asking for her execution under Iran`sIslamic Law `Ghesaas`(An eye for an Eye)
The final meeting between the two families discussing the possibilities for a pardon was conducted yesterday - Morteza Sarbandi, Jalal Sarbandi`s son has been demanding retribution on behalf of his family.
At yesterday`s meeting, Jalal Sarbandi was accompanied by two unknown `bearded` men. When he spoke his final words and insisted on retribution, Shole Pakravan's cries and screams reached the skies. She begged and begged for her daughter's life. However the two bearded men calmly advised Jalal not to be influenced by this.
It is of great concern that these two unknown men were allowed to attend the meeting and sit on either side of Jalal and tell him not to forgive. We believe they were sent by the same authority who is trying to cover up their crimes by getting rid off Reyhaneh. No doubt they were sent to intimidate Jalal and his family and ensure that they do not pardon Reyhaneh.

Any human being would have been moved by Reyhaneh's mother and the letters written by thousands of people begging for forgiveness. This only means that the Sarbandi family is also under pressure from certain government authorities such as the Intelligence Service.
Reyhaneh could be executed at any moment now. Shole Pakravan has become silent since the meetings began. The international community owes it to her and her family to step up and speak louder, put more pressure on the Iranian government and demand Reyhaneh to be released immediately.
